VOTING BY PROXY AT THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
As discussed and voted on at the 2009 SCRC AGM - proxy
votes are now being allowed - beginning with the 2010 AGM.
The intention of the proxy vote is to provide for a QUORUM at the AGM and
hopefully avoid delays in the meeting while the membership is assembled.
Below find the the rules for using proxy votes:
1) Proxies only will be accepted on the
SCRC approved form and confirmed by the Secretary prior to the start of the
AGM.
2) A member in attendance may carry a maximum of two (2) Proxies.
3) A proxy shall only be used for voting. It cannot be used to make, second or
to amend a motion.
