  • PARKING:  There is a donation of $5 for parking on Henley Island and alternate parking locations may be used.  Be aware that this could add travel time. Factor this into your race day schedule to ensure your athletes are on time for their race.  It is important that you communicate this message to all parents to avoid confusion on race day. Inclement weather could force the use of satellite parking, so again please be aware and factor this into your travel logistics.

  • All races 2000 meters from starting gates - please ensure your crews have practiced backing into the start gates (a video demonstrating the correct procedure is available on the SCRC home page).

  • Anticipated regatta time - approx. 7:30am- 6pm (weather willing).

  • Anticipated time between races  - 6-7 mins.

  • Grandstand will be open. Henley Island Helpers will be serving hot foot by the shellhouse.   Gold medals at grandstand, silver & bronze at clerk's booth on Henley Island.

  • Clothing appropriate to the temperature and weather conditions must be worn on the water.  Crews dressed inappropriately will not be permitted to row.

  • The January 2011 RCA rules of racing will be enforced with the following exceptions:

    2. There will be no weigh-in for rowers or coxswains.
    3. Race course will be marked by pylons each 500 meters.
4.The RCA principles of advertising will not be enforced.
